Ingredients

1 cup milk

6 large eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter

Powdered sugar, for serving

Fresh fruits (like berries or sliced apples), for topping

Maple syrup, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 9x13 inch baking dish in the oven to heat up.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, flour, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven, and add the butter to it. Swirl the dish around so the butter melts and coats the bottom evenly.

Pour the batter directly into the hot buttered baking dish.

Immediately return the baking dish to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed up and golden brown around the edges.

Once done, remove the pancake from the oven. It will begin to deflate after a few minutes, which is perfectly normal.

Dust the pancake with powdered sugar, and top with fresh fruits. Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
