Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Italian seasoning and ¾ cup of the Parmesan cheese, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained penne pasta and broccoli. Toss everything together gently until coated with the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Serve: Divide the creamy broccoli and chicken penne among serving plates. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
