1 lb (450g) rotini pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Rotini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
