Ingredients

1 lb (450g) boneless chicken thighs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter (divided)

1/3 cup honey

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken thighs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Breading: In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

Coat the Chicken: Dredge each piece of marinated chicken in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and back into the flour. Ensure the chicken is well coated.

Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat. Add breaded chicken thighs, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set on a wire rack to drain excess oil.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add the remaining 1/4 cup of butter, honey, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper if using. Stir until the butter melts and the mixture is well combined.

Glaze the Chicken: Return the fried chicken to the skillet, coating each piece generously with the honey butter sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the chicken to absorb flavors.

Serve: Arrange the honey butter chicken on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the top and garnish with freshly chopped parsley for added color.
